The main goal of the project is to optimize the entire charging process, starting from energy generation all the way to the end user, in order to benefit everyone involved.
To develop concepts for these optimized processes the XL-CONNECT consortium identified requirements for various smart charging scenarios like V1G, V2G, V2X to answer the question “what is still missing for Smart Charging?”
AIT led and completed the report on requirements in time and prepared a comprehensive document as starting point for the project. The deliverable document D1.1 deals with the identification and determination of requirements for the various elements involved in charging and for the various smart charging scenarios like V1G, V2G, V2X to answer the question “what is still missing for Smart Charging?”. A questionnaire was set up and circulated within the XL-Connect consortium to exploit the pooled competencies for the status quo analyses of commonly used V2X techniques today. Hence, the deliverable report D1.1 acts as updated requirements agenda for Smart Charging Technologies to be implemented within XL-Connect. The insights into the updated requirements for Smart Charging Technologies provide a profound basis for the active work packages in order to integrate user needs and innovative technologies leading to advanced charging concepts.
