11 February 2025 — The XL-Connect project was presented during the RTR Conference held in Brussels on the 11th-13th of February. Alois Steiner from Virtual Vehicle (ViV), the project coordinator, presented the project during the session on “EV Charging: Advanced Solutions Benefiting Both the User and the Grid.”
The session was co-moderated by Guido Sacchetto from the European Commission (DG RTD) and Christof Schernus from FEV. Alois Steiner shared the latest results from the XL-Connect project, highlighting advancements in electric vehicle (EV) charging technologies and their impact on grid management.
Additionally, two other projects from the V2X Cluster, FLOW and DriVe2X, were presented in the same session, offering complementary insights into vehicle-to-everything (V2X) solutions.
The RTR Conference provided a platform for industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to discuss innovations shaping the future of sustainable mobility.
