From 28 November to 1 December 2025, the ISETS 2025 Conference took place at the University of Tokyo in Tokyo, Japan.
XL-CONNECT project partner EURECAT presented research on scalable microgrid energy scheduling using logarithmic qubit reduction and hybrid quantum–classical search.
The study used classic energy optimisation algorithms developed within XL-CONNECT as a baseline, providing a reference for evaluating quantum-based approaches to energy scheduling.
The contribution highlights the potential of combining established optimisation methods with emerging technologies to advance energy management and smart energy systems.
