On 2–3 April 2025, the Vehicle-to-Grid, Vehicle-to-Home & Smart Charging Conference 2025 took place in Aachen, Germany, bringing together European experts to discuss the latest developments in V2G, V2X and smart charging.
XL-CONNECT partners ABB E-mobility and RWTH (MMP) participated in the conference, with a focus on V2G interoperability and charging infrastructure.
A key objective was to understand the interoperability requirements between an electric vehicle and ABB’s V2G DC charger, with the aim of enabling successful charging sessions and establishing connections with vehicle manufacturers (OEMs).
The conference provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge on the current state of V2G and V2X and to explore the requirements for interoperable charging solutions.
