Why XL-CONNECT?

As a development partner, we provide software solutions for Automotive OEMs and mobility providers for service offerings in the field of smart mobility (e.g., charging services for e-vehicles or multimodal mobility services) and gained a lot of practical insights about the current situation and challenges when using EVs in various scenarios.

Moreover, we are convinced that EVs play a substantial role in the necessary carbonization of our planet. Mass EVs on the other hand, tend to burden power grids. To overcome grid issues or even blackouts bidirectional charging scenarios for EVs can help to stabilize power grids.

By contributing to XL-Connect we want to improve EV – especially digital – experiences and grid stability as a step towards decarbonization.

What in XL-CONNECT?

Our key contribution is on the digital side by examining digital experiences in various bidirectional charging scenarios from the user perspective and digital business models from solution provider perspective.
