From 19 to 21 June 2024, the 3rd International Symposium on Industrial Engineering and Automation (ISIEA 2024) took place at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano in Bolzano, Italy. The symposium brought together researchers and experts to discuss the latest developments in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering and smart automation.
As part of the conference programme, XL-CONNECT project partner UNIFI presented research on smart charging infrastructure for electric vehicles. The presentation, “Planning of Smart Charging Infrastructure for Electric Vehicles: An Italian Case Study”, explored the planning of charging infrastructure and provided insights from the Italian context.
The work presented at ISIEA 2024 was later published as a proceedings paper and is available under the Publications section of the XL-CONNECT project website.
The conference provided an opportunity to share XL-CONNECT-related research with the wider scientific community and to contribute to the ongoing discussion on smart charging and the development of electric mobility infrastructure.
