XL-CONNECT proudly participated in the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2026, held from 18–21 May 2026 in Budapest, Hungary. As Europe’s leading conference on transport research and innovation, TRA 2026 brought together researchers, industry representatives, policymakers, and civil society to discuss the future of mobility and sustainable transport.
Throughout the event, XL-CONNECT was present at the ALICE Logistics Innovation Village, where visitors had the opportunity to learn more about the project’s work on smart and flexible EV charging solutions. The project showcased its approach to on-demand, multi-directional charging solutions for electric vehicles, as well as the MCTS-Charger (Modular Charging Test System), developed in collaboration with Applus+ IDIADA.
On 20 May 2026 at 15:00, Joan Carles Artigau Benítez (Applus+ IDIADA) delivered a presentation at the ALICE Theatre, providing an overview of the XL-CONNECT project and highlighting the role of the MCTS-Charger within the initiative.
TRA 2026 offered an excellent opportunity for XL-CONNECT to exchange knowledge, connect with partners and industry professionals, and contribute to ongoing discussions on sustainable mobility and transport innovation.
