On 18 September 2025, the XL-Connect project took part in the UK V2X Engagement Session, joining forces with fellow projects from the European V2X-cluster: SCALE, NEVERFLAT, ePowerMove, DriVe2X, FLOW, EV4EU, and AHEAD.
The event brought together leading initiatives in the field of vehicle-to-everything (V2X) innovation, with an afternoon session structured around five key priority topics for interactive discussion:
- Battery degradation – exploring long-term performance and sustainability challenges.
- Data/AI tools & cybersecurity – ensuring resilience and trust in digital mobility ecosystems.
- Comms & interoperability – tackling seamless connectivity across platforms and systems.
- Policy & regulation – shaping frameworks that enable large-scale V2X deployment.
- User aspects – understanding societal and consumer perspectives for adoption.
Representing XL-Connect, Dr. Anna Eisner presented the project’s recent progress, contributing to a collaborative exchange of insights and aligning efforts with partner projects in the cluster.
The engagement session highlighted the importance of cross-project collaboration to accelerate Europe’s transition towards smart, secure, and sustainable mobility solutions.
